Need access to your office computer while working remotely?
Your login credentials will be the same login you use for your office computer when working remotely, NOT your eTenet account.
Step 1: Get Your IP Address
When you are currently on your office computer, take a look at your desktop background. Within the lower right corner you will see white text that displays information about your computer. Make note of the one labeled "IP Address", it should start with 10.150. Make sure you write down the whole number, you will need it in Step 5.
Step 2: Install Citrix Receiver
If you already have the Citrix Receiver installed then you can skip to Step 2
Click the link for the computer you will be using,
Within the download page, choose the option that says either,
"Download Receiver for Windows" or "Download Receiver for Mac"
Once the file downloads, install it by double-clicking the file and following the prompts. The Citrix Receiver plugin is now installed.
Step 3: Open the Baptist Citrix Portal
Navigate to https://satxcitrix.etenet.com , remember, use your SATX or desktop login credentials even though it says "etenet.com"
Step 4: Open Remote Desktop
After you have logged in, you should have a page similar to the below, your "Remote Desktop" icon might look different but will be labeled "Remote Desktop".
Go ahead now and click on the "Remote Desktop" icon circled above. Once it opens, you will be presented with a dialog box like the one pictured below.
Step 5: Connect to Desktop
Within the dialog box pictured above, type in your ip address gathered from Step 1 then press "Connect". You will be asked to login, remember, use your computer login and append SATX\ to your username so that it becomes SATX\jdoe like below.
After you have filled in your username and password, press "OK". Your desktop computer will now open up as if you were right there in your office working. You can also access your shared drives in this manner as an alternative to Remote Group Shares
